FREO TODAY

Freo Today. 20 May 2026. Not sure whether this is a free ad for Wild Bakery or for the MG Cyberster. Everyone around Freo, and in this case North Freo, Queen Vic Street, knows Wild. But perhaps not everyone knows the Cyberster (or how to say it properly!). Certainly our Ed didn’t know it until this one appeared in the QV St carpark near Wild and left its front passenger door/only passenger door high in the sky as its driver wandered off, to the amusement of many onlookers including this passer-by. Turns out the fancy James Bond type doors don’t close automatically. Otherwise, as the MG online puffery explains: ‘With history rooted in icons like the MGB and our future clearly defined in tech, the Cyberster is a car 100 years in the making. The Cyberster seamlessly blends cutting-edge tech, sophisticated design and enhanced performance!’ Except, as we say, it doesn’t close its high flying doors automatically!
